Alumni
Alumni Service Program
Individuals who have earned an INMED Graduate Diploma or INMED Master’s in International Health are invited to return to offer their skills at an INMED Service-Learning Site. The length of service is flexible. INMED will coordinate with both the individuals and the service-learning sites to arrange a mutual match. Responsibilities of the INMED Alum on location will be negotiated between the individual and the Service-Learning Site supervisor, with consideration of the alum’s particular skills and the training sites unique needs.

Qualification for the INMED Alumni Service Program includes an INMED Graduate Diploma. Components of the Diploma include the Graduate Certificate Course in International Medicine, International Nursing, or International Public Health, followed by a supervised service-learning experience at an INMED Service-Learning Site. In this way, INMED Alumni Service Program participants are uniquely prepared for the special challenges of low-resources and cross-cultural healthcare settings.
INMED Service-Learning Sites are all non-profit institutions, and INMED Alumni are responsible for all expenses associated with their volunteer service. Such expenses normally include airfare, passport, visa, vaccinations, and housing and meals at the INMED Service-Learning Site. INMED provides essential support via a $400 Alumni Service Fee.
