Overview
The INMED Graduate Certificate Courses address similar subjects as the INMED Short Self-Paced Courses but in much greater depth. The INMED Graduate Certificate Courses include skill stations, workshops, literature critique, rigorous exams, active participation of the instructors, and networking with like-minded student colleagues. In particular:
- The Graduate Certificate Courses have an instructor who can assist students with their questions. The INMED Short Self-Paced Courses do not include availability of an instructor.
- The Graduate Certificate Courses include structured assignments and feedback for each week. The INMED Short Self-Paced Courses require students to approach learning without such structure.
- The depth and detail of learning in the Graduate Certificate Courses is much greater than the Short Self-Paced Courses and includes subject analysis and protocol development.
- The Graduate Certificate Courses includes classroom workshop activities that are pivotal in application of the information.
- The Graduate Certificate Courses provide an opportunity to meet and interact with peers in the field
The Pre-Tests and interactive questions embedded throughout the content all contain answers and explanations to enhance learning. But the Post-Tests are designed to be assessments, and for this reason answers and explanations are not included. You can go back, review the content, and retake the Post-Tests as many times as necessary to achieve the required passing score of 80 percent. Thanks for understanding!
CME Accredited Courses are designed for MDs and DOs. After successful completion of these courses, the learner receives a CME certificate. Non-CME courses contain the same content as the CME Courses. After successful completion of these courses the learner receives a Certificate of Completion.

The content of each course is similar.
The topics in this course correspond rather closely to topics in Step One / COMLEX One exams. For this reason, some medical students prefer to take the course during their second year. But the most important time to do the course would be when you can spare an extra five to ten hours per week of study time.
Learners can “work at their own pace” throughout any particular week, but all assignments must be completed by Sundays. In this way, learners can make timely posts and responses to one another posts, and the faculty can provide timely feedback on each learner’s progress. For these reasons, and to assure successful course completion, all learners must stay within the synchronous environment and comply with the posted course schedule. There are periodic virtual classroom activities at scheduled times.
INMED’s courses are regularly revised with the most up-to-date, evidence-based information. For graduates of our INMED Academic Credit Courses (such as the Graduate Certificate Course in International Medicine, Nursing and/or Public Health), we offer a 50% “Refresher Discount” for those who wish to take the course again. In order to register at the 50% discounted rate, please contact [email protected] for instructions. We will verify your previous participation dates and passing grade.
