Learn and Serve: Roatán

To participate in the 2024 Roatan Learn and Serve Conference, complete the online application. Please be prepared to upload any professional licenses, passport data page, and submit the $100 non-refundable deposit. The application deadline is September 20, 2024.

Healthcare professionals and students of health professions. Ie: Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, PAs, Nurses, etc.

The conference will be hosted at Clinica Esperanza and The Refuge.

Attendees will stay at The Refuge. A five-night stay is included in the conference registration fee.

The Institute for International Medicine is accredited by the Missouri State Medical Association (MSMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Institute for International Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Costs Paid to INMED: $900 per person, includes:

• Conference Registration Fee
• 5-Night Stay at The Refuge
• Meals at the conference
• Snorkeling
• Medical professional liability insurance (for medical professionals)
• Travel Insurance
• Ground transportation to the conference
• CME for American Physicians

Other Estimated Costs (Not paid to INMED): $1,100 per person 

• Non-Conference Meals: $100 estimated
• Airfare: $800 estimated
• Other miscellaneous costs, not covered by the registration fee, may include passport fees, vaccinations, cab fare outside of designated conference transportation, souvenirs, and other personal expenditures.

Total Trip Estimate: $2,000. A non-refundable $100 deposit is due at the time of application. All remaining fees due to INMED must be paid by September 1, 2024.
